Melanie contacted us after a friend of hers booked a session with us and absolutely loved her maternity images.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and we find ourselves at the Kahala Resort just outside of bustling Waikiki for the sweetest family/maternity session and I was in love! The weather held off just long enough for us to capture a beautiful session with Melanie, Jason and Mason.
I mean seriously! How cute are they?!
Winter in Hawai’i. While that doesn’t mean snow on the islands, it does mean LOTS of rain.
Somedays you know it’s coming, other days it completely surrounds you without warning. That was the case for Phuong’s Ohana Session. Without warning we were running for cover only to be completely soaked before we could even make it.
To make up for the random downpour, we squeezed in a tiny morning session to before they left the island later.
We've had this privilege to watch this wonderful couple get engaged, married, traveled to Hawaii for their maternity session, and now welcome the cutest little princess to the circle of love!
We're honored to be able to be the ones who get to capture all these special life moments.

Oh mama! Babies babies babies!
It seems that this is the year for babies! I can't think of a better way to start "baby season" than with a dear friend and her sweet little bundle.
I met Kristi over 10 years ago when we were still in high school. Fast forward a few years & a few major life events and I find myself here once again... in the middle of something beautiful, straight out of a fairy tale.
Please help me welcome the cutest little bundle, Leighton Marie; born to the most wonderful parents anyone could ask for!

Chasity and James knew exactly what they wanted when we discussed Chasity's maternity session. Needless to say, I was sold instantly..
So up the mountain we drove and the evening was perfect! A glowing sunset, a purple filled sky before dark and the perfect couple.
This sessions was so sweet to photograph! As a mama myself, I savor these organic moments. We just let life happen and what an adorable family to do it with. This location is where Sallee grew up so we wanted to capture these moments here. So we ran in the fields, ate bubbles and watched the sun set off in the distance.
