I met Stephanie last spring at a wedding we were both working. She, as the wedding coordinator/planner and myself, as the photographer. It was 102+ degree's outside and everyone was hot and miserable but this gal... so impressed! She was absolutely phenomenal and it was a pleasure to work beside her!
Fast forward a few months, and I get a text for a surprise sister session for their mom's birthday gift. An instant yes! We die for surprises and having previously met this amazing gal I knew it was going to be awesome and awesome it was!
We met with her equally awesome older sister Danielle for a top secret sister session down the road from their home and recreated childhood photos and had plain old fun. They even threw on their college T-Shirts for some shots for dad!
I could go on about how much fun we had and how I can't wait to do it again (all true I swear), but I only have so much room.
I kept in touch with Stephanie after the photoshoot and learned they collected their favorite images & made a special photo book for their dear mama. Too anxious to wait for mom's birthday, Danielle and Stephanie had a special evening and reveled their secret project to her. She bawled as expected and absolutely loved their photo book!
Guys, this is why we do what we do. This warm and fuzzy feeling we get when we know we've brought a slice of joy in this big world filled with chaos. When people are brought to tears or moved by a moment we've captured... This is why we love what we do
